SEASON’S GREETINGS 2026

2025年シーズンにおきましても、全国各地で開催されたマウンテンバイク大会および関連事業に対し、開催自治体、協賛各社・団体、ならびに関係各位から多大なるご支援とご協力を賜り、心より御礼申し上げます。

各開催地では、地域の自然環境や特性を活かした運営が行われ、マウンテンバイクスポーツとしての発展に加え、地域振興や交流促進にも貢献することができたと思われます。競技レベルは年々向上しており、同時にUCIおよびJCFが推進する安全対策の重要性も高まり、安全で持続可能な大会運営は、関係者の皆様との連携によって支えられています。

2026年シーズンの開幕は、9月に予定されております総合スポーツ大会「アジア競技大会」が行われる国際都市・名古屋を舞台とする「Coupe du Japon 愛知国際」から始まります。都市機能とスポーツイベントが融合する本大会はインビテーショナルイベントとしてトップ層のみが出場する大会ですが、国内外に向けて日本のマウンテンバイク競技の現在地を発信する象徴的な一戦となります。
その翌週には、東京オリンピックの会場であった日本サイクルスポーツセンター（静岡県伊豆市）での国際大会「Japan Mountain Bike Cup」に協力いたします。

続く兵庫県たつの市・菖蒲谷では、起伏に富んだ地形を活かしたコースが、選手の総合力を試します。
滋賀県高島市・びわ湖高島Stageでは、日本最大の湖を擁する自然環境と調和したフィールドが、競技と地域の魅力を同時に発信します。

四国・愛媛県八幡浜市では、コンチネンタルシリーズとしてワールド･カップへの日本での唯一の予選会の役割とともに、UCIジュニアシリーズを併催する国際大会として、次世代育成と国際交流の拠点となる大会が開催されます。

初夏には、岐阜県郡上市にてダウンヒルの全日本選手権が行われ、日本有数の山岳エリアで最高峰のスピードと技術が競われます。

石川県白山市・白山一里野では、豊かな自然と観光資源を背景にした大会が開催され、地域一体となった大会運営が特色です。

夏には国際大会に昇格した福島県田村市・桧山高原、そして長野県安曇野市において初開催となるクロスカントリーの全日本選手権が行われ、国内トップ選手が集結します。

長野県白馬村では、JOCジュニアオリンピックカップが開催され、将来を担うユース世代が世界を目指す第一歩を踏み出します。

秋には京都府和束町のワールド･マスターズ・ゲームズの前哨戦。山口県下関市・深坂の国際コースと、地域色豊かなステージが続くほか、愛知県名古屋市では「アジア競技大会」が開催。

シーズン終盤は、熊本県御船町・吉無田高原にて開催される国際大会が締めくくりとなり、九州の雄大な自然の中で一年を総括する舞台となります。

あわせて、IMBAと連携した「キッズデイ」は、10月を通じて全国各地で開催され、次世代育成と自転車文化の普及に大きく貢献してまいります。

このように2026年シーズンも、日本各地の特色ある開催地と、自治体・協賛社をはじめとする皆様のご支援によりマウンテンバイク競技を通じたスポーツ振興、地域活性化、国際交流の促進に取り組んでまいります。

2026年度のチーム登録は2月に開始予定となっていますので、新シーズンへのチャレンジを応援したいと思います。

SEASON’S GREETINGS 2026

During the 2025 season, we received invaluable support and cooperation from host municipalities, sponsors, partner organizations, and all related parties across Japan. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful organization of our events.

Each host venue successfully utilized its unique natural environment and local characteristics, contributing not only to the advancement of competitive mountain biking but also to regional revitalization and community engagement.

As the competitive level continues to rise, the importance of safety measures promoted by the UCI and JCF has become increasingly significant. Safe and sustainable event management is made possible through close collaboration with our partners.

The 2026 season begins in the international city of Nagoya with the Coupe du Japon Aichi International, showcasing the fusion of urban culture and world-class mountain bike competition.

The series then moves to Shobudani in Tatsuno City, Hyogo, where years of experience in event organization and a technically demanding course test riders’ all-around abilities.
At Lake Biwa Takashima Stage in Shiga, the event highlights harmony between competition and one of Japan’s most iconic natural environments.

In Yawatahama City, Ehime, an international event featuring the UCI Junior Series serves as a hub for youth development and global exchange.
Early summer brings the Downhill National Championships to Gujo City, Gifu, where elite riders compete on one of Japan’s premier mountain terrains.

Hakusan Ichirino in Ishikawa hosts a race deeply connected with local tourism and community involvement.
During summer, the spotlight turns to Hiyama Highlands in Fukushima and Azumino City, Nagano, where the Cross-Country National Championships gather Japan’s top athletes.

Hakuba Village, Nagano, welcomes the JOC Junior Olympic Cup, providing young riders with a vital stepping stone toward international competition.
In autumn, the series travels to the satoyama landscapes of Wazuka, Kyoto, followed by the international course at Misaka, Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi.

The season concludes at Yoshinata Highlands in Mifune Town, Kumamoto, where riders compete amid Kyushu’s vast natural scenery, bringing the year to a memorable close.

In parallel, the IMBA-supported “Kids Day” program will be held nationwide throughout October, promoting youth participation and fostering a healthy cycling culture.

The 2026 season is made possible through the strong cooperation of host municipalities and sponsors across Japan. We remain committed to advancing mountain biking, regional development, and international exchange through our events.
